Trunk N Treat

We went to a trunk n treat that a local car dealership held.  We went last year but it was so cold the kids had jackets over their costumes.  This year was perfect.  We got their early and a good thing too because they had a record turnout, more than 2000 kids!  The boys loved getting the candy (of course) and seeing the cars decorated.  They ate almost all of their candy by the time they got home!  They were bonkers!

On Halloween, the temperature dropped so the kids had lots of layers under their clothes.  We went trick or treating in downtown CF from 3-5 pm.  They got so much candy.  It was too cold when it was time to trick or treat in the neighborhood.  They had plenty of candy anyway.  Jack had a great time passing out candy to the big kids.  We got way more kids this year (mostly middle and high schoolers).  We ran out of pretzels so Jack picked out some of the candy he got that afternoon and passed that out.  I was so proud of him to share (and happy to be rid of more of it).

That weekend, we went to Stevens Point to visit Heather, Kayleigh, and Ray.  The kids had a great time playing together and we were happy seeing our friends!
