We bought this fire ring at the beginning of the spring. We used it for the first time in mid-September. I was worried Alec would fall into the fire before. The kids were fine. We had hot dogs and s'mores. We took this picture with a timer and tripod. We too *soooo* many pictures before we got a good one.
We drove up to Kettle Moraine State Park. They had a great nature center for the kids. We took a gorgeous 3/4 mile hike through the woods and by ponds. The highlight for kids was a neighbor dog. The dog lives next door and likes to go on hikes with people. The kids half ran the trail. We felt like Packer dog was with us.
