One of our favorite things about living in our neighborhood is going down to the lake and playing in the water.
Our first camping trip to Brunett Island State Park. It was so pretty and not crowded. We didn't bring our kayaks but will next time. Almost all of the campsites have lake access. It was a bit chilly, but we were dressed warmly enough. We only stayed 1 night because John and I realized that we are no longer young enough to sleep on the ground with just a thin thermarest. We had a great time though and are ready for more camping (with an air mattress).
