August started out with a trip to the Zoo with our MOMS club. This month the theme was hummingbirds. We got to take a round trip on the skyfari and then see the hummingbirds. I didn't even know there was a hummingbird exhibit there! Then they read a book about moving. Afterwards, the kids played at the playground in the Children's zoo and then went to the petting zoo.

We went to a children's band at the library. Alec wasn't sure if he liked it. It was pretty loud. Then he decided that he didn't so we left.
Jack got addicted to waffles while Grandma and Grandpa were here so the grandparents bought him a waffle maker.

We went to Seaport village to see the boats and stuff. Jack kept whining that he wanted to go on the boats.
On Sunday, we went to the New Children's Museum. Jack won us a membership so we made use of it during members only hours. The first time we went he was a little young for it. He definitely enjoyed it more this time around.
