Urgent care weekend

Last weekend, we took Jack to urgent care twice in two days. Sat., because he had a low grade fever for 6 days with a junky cough. They wanted to make sure it wasn't pneumonia. It was just a nasty cold virus that's been going around. (John and I had it this week.) The next day he started feeling better. He was running in the house with socks on, slipped and hit his eye on the edge of his little chair. It split his eyelid by his eyebrow. It took over 1.5 hrs to see a dr. By then it had stopped bleeding unless he touched it. The dr thought stitches would be too traumatic for him since they'd have to strap him down. He put steri stops on it. Jack has been very good about not touching it.
Many people who have boys have said it won't be the last time we visit urgent care twice in a week. :(
