We headed up to my sisters family's house on Thursday. Since Alec hasn't been doing well in the car, we stopped half way in savannah GA. John and I had been there when John was training in Charleston and we really liked it. We stayed in the historic section and walked down to the river to look at boats. We walked through several of the parks on the way. Jack liked the statues and fountains. It was pretty hot so we had an early dinner and hung out in the hotel.
Jack was good in the car though he wanted snacks constantly.
Alec was not good in the car. Here is a picture of the best nap he took. We think the car made him sick. It was a rough ride.
We had a great time staying with the McCauleys. We went swimming a couple days. Jack had a great time playing with his cousins Madeline and Dylan. They had lots of toys to play with.
Madeline and Alec played together a lot. Madeline can't wait for her younger sister.

While Madeline was at school and Dylan was at preschool we went to a nature preserve. One day we walked along Lake Wylie and looked at the fish, turtles, and birds. Another day we went to the mature center. They had a lot of fish, snakes, lizards. They had a lot of puzzles and had story time about turtles and jack got to pet one.
