Halloween

On Sunday, We went to  Old Poway Park for Halloween again.  We went on the big train which was driven by zombies.  Jack loves that train so he didn't mind waiting in line for a while especially since he got to see it go around and around.  Then he played a game or two.  We made Jack's costume.  He won't wear anything on his head and all of the costumes in his size have head pieces.  He liked wearing his badge and he had toy handcuffs too.  It says "POLICE" across his back.

On Monday, Jack came down with a fever and stayed home Tuesday and Wednesday.  Mommy still got him dressed up to go around the block.  He couldn't go with his neighborhood friends since he was sick. :(  He only went to a handful of houses (mostly people we know) but he really enjoyed seeing all the other kids dressed up and the houses decorated.

He had been really, really unhappy with this sickness and on Thursday we found out why...he has hand, foot, and mouth disease.  Poor guy has sores all over his mouth and bumps on his hands, feet, and legs.  He will be home Friday too.  Adults don't usually get it but the dr said there is a virulent strain going around SD and we may get it.  If mommy does get it, it shouldn't be a problem for #2.  Hopefully we don't get it.  Since Jack has been such a mess, mommy has been sleeping with him every night in his new bed.  It's comfortable but not a lot of room for 2 people...
