Last weekend, Jack got a big boy bed. We were going to keep him in the crib a long time but we didn't want him to feel he was getting kicked out by his little brother. Also, it's getting hard for mommy to lift him in and out of the crib. We got one at IKEA.

It pulls out so you can add another mattress. We actually didn't know that when we bought it but that will be handy for visitors.
It took almost the entire weekend to find the bed, disassemble the crib and assemble the bed so we didn't make all of the Halloween events we wanted to go to. He seems to have taken to the bed very well. He likes that mommy and daddy can sit on the bed with him. He hasn't fallen out yet but we put pillows on the ground in case he does.
Now we just have to find a place to put the crib....
