We didn't do much for fathers day since Jack's molars are coming in and he decided to wake everyone up at 3:45. Mommy fell back asleep with Jack but Daddy did not. Thus daddy didn't feel up to doing much. We went out for pancake breakfast and Jack gave daddy a card he made and Apple TV. We spent the rest of the day hanging around the house being crabby and getting our stuff together for our trip to Yellowstone on Friday.
A couple weeks ago we used a groupon and went to the model railroad museum at Balboa park. Jack really liked watching the choo-choos. He also enjoyed playing with all the Thomas train sets they had.
Jack has been really obsessed with coloring with crayons and sidewalk chalk lately. He's also really into puzzles and can even do puzzles that fit together not just single pieces that fit into their own spot. We've been going to the library most Saturdays to play with their puzzles and read books.
At school they've been working on letters. Jack can find a J anywhere even if it's jumbled up with other letters. Also when we write and say J-A-C-K he will say Jack and point to himself. What a clever boy!
