We picked this week to try sleep training since we had a 4 day weekend, a 3 day work week and then another 4 day weekend. Needless to say, we were all quite tired this weekend. That didn't stop us from having a great Christmas. When he woke up, Jack was quite surprised when he caught a glimpse of the tree and discovered Santa had visited. Kept pointing to the tree from upstairs.
Then he ran right over to inspect the presents.
Jack and Packer couldn't wait to open one. While we were making coffee we heard them in the other room and discovered this scene. It was a tractor from Grandma and Grandpa Ochs.
He got to play with it while we ate breakfast. It has two buttons on the top that make noise. Jack loves to press them over and over and over.
Packer helped open the first couple presents but then he got a little too excited so he had to wait in the garage. He was ok with that because he got to chew on a tennis ball.
I can tell people read Jack's blog because he got a lot of cars and trucks and tractors. He is very happy about that.
He also got some stacking blocks. He's been practicing stacking but he really likes knocking it over.
He got a lot of books too. He likes this one with barnyard animals in it. We had to read it right away and now he carries it around.
Daddy helped open some presents too.
Daddy got a wrench set from Jack. Jack was helping daddy pick them up.
I made a full turkey dinner and our friends Lisa and Dave came over. Jack ate a little turkey this time and some bread. Then we walked around the block to look at christmas lights before some creme brule desert.
