On Sunday evening, we went to a park in Poway for a Halloween fair. It's called Old Poway and they have a big steam train and period houses and a blacksmith etc. There were games and stuff for the kids. Jack dressed up as a skeleton. I painted his face with zinc sun block to make it white but it got all over everything. He went without it on Halloween. Jack had a good time just staring at everything. I don't know if he really understood that people were dressed up. He just liked lookingat all the people. We rode on the train, which was actually really nice. On Halloween, I left work early and took Jack to the strip mall by our house. I got there an hour after it started and most stores were already out of candy. Jack didn't care. He just liked watching people and walking around. It was
SOOO hot. They also had a band and a guy on stilts. He kept staring at the guy on stilts, not knowing what was up with him. The picture below has the stilts guy in the background. Jack is eating a twizzler (gross). That's the only candy he had. Then we got home and ate quickly. THen we sat outside and passed out candy from 6:15-7:15. We got quite a few kids. We probably would have run out of candy if we stayed outside longer but Jack had had it.
