Eating S'mores

Going for a walk in Irvine Park while daddy goes on a long run.

We went down to Champaign to see Grandma and Grandpa.  Uncle Michael flew in too.  We went to a big playground and ate at Bread Company.

Alec fell asleep while picking his nose.

Went to Hessel Park splash pad but the kids weren't really into it.  So we just went to Custard Cup instead.  YUM

Kids had so much fun rough-housing with Uncle Michael.

It was raining Sunday morning so we went to the mall.  The play area was a bit too young for them.  They did enjoy the carousel though!

Went to a small brewery down the street, Tryptich.  Then went to the park by their house.

Stopped by Henry Vilas Zoo on the way home to give the kids a chance to stretch and run around.  This was the first time we were there since they opened the new exhibits.  They had been under construction since we moved here.

The boys are getting to be great friends.  Jack says Alec is his best friend.  Alec thinks he's big and always follows Jack around.  Jack doesn't always lead the show though.  Alec is very stubborn and determined.  Today Jack wanted me to wake Alec up from his nap so that he could play with him.  I just hope they stay that way.
