During Jack's spring break in Feb, we took a road trip to see Nana and Granddad. We stopped for a break in Champaign to see Grandma and Grandpa but we made it down in 2 long days. The boys were so good in the car. They had a lot of books, toys and activities.
Feeding the ducks in Leesburg
We visited the town squares in The Villages. This is the newest, a wild west theme. This kids had fun running around the stage. Jack is wearing a cape made out of a plastic bag.
Daddy catching some zzzzzs.
Granddad caught some fish with Jack's help.
The kids *loved* the Orlando science center. We got in free with our Children's museum membership. There was so much stuff for them to do. Most of the pictures of them are blurs because they didn't stop moving.
They loved the dinosaur room.
Digging for fossils
Building stuff.
Going for walks around the neighborhood. Looking for alligators.
Day trip to Homosassa Springs to see the manatees. Since it was winter there were so many. The kids loved the boat ride from the visitor's center to the manatees

Fort de Soto Park. There were lots of old Forts that we could explore. Then we spent the day at the beach. The fog rolled in and we couldn't see very far. It stayed warm though.
Later that day, we were dining at the resort restaurant when a boat crashed into it. We were on the other side of the wall, maybe 20 feet from where it crashed. Fortunately, no one was hurt. The boat was going too fast and using GPS to navigate through the dense fog.
Lowry Park Zoo in Tampa Bay. There were these beautiful decorations all over for a lantern celebration starting that night. Jack and Alec by the Chinese dragon.
