For our family vacation, we visited Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. John, Rebecca, and Jack drove from San Diego to Salt Lake City to meet Nana and Grandad who flew from Florida. Our first home base was Canyon Village in Yellowstone where we stayed in cabins for 3 nights. From there we explored the north half of the park. Then we stayed in Grant Village for 2 nights to explore the southern half. Our last leg of the trip was 2 nights at Colter Bay on Jackson Lake in the Grand Tetons. We had a great time seeing the sights and the many animals. Jack especially liked all of the bison. We put 2533 miles on the car round trip!

On the way back we stopped in Salt Lake City. We were a block from Temple Square so we visited the Mormon Temple. It was over 100 degrees so we were quite hot!

What great photos! The backdrops are amazing. I especially love the one of dad (grandad) and Jack with the mountains in the background. Thanks for sharing. Deborah
