Bates Nut Farm Pumpkin Patch

Sunday we went to Bates Nut Farm Pumpkin Patch. They actually grow pumpkins there in a big field. They had 100+ lb pumpkins. They also had a petting zoo, farm animals to look at, pony rides, hay rides, straw maze, food, etc. Jack went in the petting zoo and looked at all the farm animals. He was getting pretty brave in the petting zoo. He picked out a pumpkin, which we have yet to carve. We didn't realize it was going to be so hot (90) so Jack had to change out of his Holloween clothes into his jumper. Fortunately we got there early because when we left the line to get in was over 2 miles long. We will definitely have to come early next year.
